Università Telematica Internazionale UNINETTUNO UNINETTUNO is a trusted distance-learning University structured in six faculties: Engineering, Economics, Cultural Heritage, Psychology, Communication Sciences and Law. It provides open and flexible higher education, postgraduate programmes and master courses in six languages (Italian, English, French, Arabic, Greek and Polish) to 15.000 students from 170 different countries. 

The key to its success are an innovative teaching methodology and a unique e-learning platform: a knowledge network where teachers and students based all over the world produce, deliver and receive educational contents through the internet, without space or time boundaries. Moreover, UNINETTUNO offers vocational courses and up to 220 MOOC courses, making it one of the largest MOOC providers in Europe. Founded in 1985, its headquarters are based in Rome, Italy.

Fin Plus TRIESTE is a nonprofit sports organization, part of FIN (Italian Swimming Federation).

It manages the local swimming complex, which is one of the largest in Italy and hosts the local FIN affiliated swimming clubs in all water sports, it organizes  swimming programs for children, adults and seniors and is attended by about 200.000 people per year. The complex has hosted important national and international water sports events.

Trieste is one of the oldest cities in Italy and in this perspective Fin Plus Trieste has promoted many campaigns and programs to promote water sports activities among adults and elders. It organizes, in collaboration with Lunga Vita Attiva Aps, “Slow Swimming” programs and is a landmark for FIN training school in swimming programs for elders.

LUNGA VITA ATTIVA APS is a no profit association located in Trieste whose aim is to promote the culture of healthy and active ageing and to encourage the senior population to be more active and take responsibility in their ageing well. 

The Association promotes sport activities for the elder population. It organizes an annual Sport Event “H2O 60&abouts on the Move” for the promotion of Active Ageing and develops a program of seminars to stimulate the value of healthy and active ageing. It works in partnership with  local University of the Third Age.

Lunga Vita Attiva APS runs Slow Swimming Courses for seniors, in collaboration with FIN Plus Trieste and coordinates the network “Trieste in Movimento” in conjunction with the Cardio Vascular Centre in Trieste.

The Science and Research Centre Koper The Science and Research Centre Koper (ZRS Koper) works on an interdisciplinary basis, involving humanities, social and natural sciences, with special emphasis given to the research in the specific environments of the Mediterranean and the upper Adriatic region. Its main activities are: basic and applied research; production of professional expertise and counselling; education; organisation of scientific meetings; publishing and editorial activities; librarianship. ZRS Koper is actively integrating in international scientific cooperation and is connecting with many similar organisations worldwide. Researchers are also actively involved in academic process at all three Slovene public universities, thus ensuring the transfer of research results into the educational sphere.

Founded in 1875, Université Catholique de Lille is a multidisciplinary institution which combines 5 faculties (Les facultés de l’université catholique de Lille), 18 schools, institutes, and Grandes Ecoles, and a hospital group. It is France’s largest private, not-for-profit university, with an enrollment of 30.000 students.

In November 2013, the Catholic University of Lille decided to engage resolutely in the Third Industrial Revolution and thus contribute to the essential energy, ecological, economic and social transition of the University and the Hauts-de-France region. : it’s the Live Tree program. Live Tree is a global project that brings together all the families of actors (teachers, researchers, staff, students, businesses, inhabitants, communities) and which comes in a set of actions with an integrated approach Engineering Science – Human and Social Sciences.

University of Maribor (https://www.um.si) is a Slovene public university with study programs and research activity in all representative fields. It is committed to the excellence in education and science with basic and applied research and creativity in arts. It has a strong network of international partners and cooperates domestic economy. It produces engaged citizens with strong democratic values.

Faculty of Arts (http://www.ff.um.si) develops research disciplines in the areas of humanities, social sciences, and teacher training. It has a long history of teacher training programs within its predecessor, Faculty of Education. It has 12 departments that offer study programs at all levels of education. It is proud of its international activity as well as its research excellence.
